India has officially asked for a review of the recent decision by a US court, which dismissed the criminal charges against Seattle police officer Kevin Dave. Dave was involved in the tragic incident that led to the death of 23-year-old Indian student Jaahnavi Kandula. The King County Prosecutor's Office declared that they would not proceed with criminal charges against Dave, citing insufficient evidence. The incident took place on January 23, when Kandula was fatally hit by a police vehicle driven by Officer Dave while crossing a street in Seattle.
