Whisky bottles stand tall in CJI's courtroom as liquor war enters SC

Pernod Ricard accuses Karanveer Singh Chhabra's JK Trading of copying their whisky brands 'Blenders Pride' and 'Imperial Blue'. The accused allegedly used the name 'London Pride' and copied the bottle design and logo of Seagram. Pernod Ricard presents the bottles as evidence in the Supreme Court. The Chief Justice of India considers the case, stating that 'pride' is a generic name and no copyright can be claimed over it.
